Thank you sunshine, you have been a very big help. Now what about fertilizer? How often should I use the liquid and when should I stop so it doesn't make the flower taste funny?

No problem my friend. Regarding ferts get some of this stuff (below), it's powder which you apply by top dressing the soil with it (dust it on the top of the soil) and water it in. 6 - 8 tablespoons per bucket would do you until the end of this run ?
Organic flowers taste better and don't need to be flushed Also using dry ferts like this is a lot less problematic than using liquids ☺

I'm hoping to and I'm also hoping to have a bigger area as well. I will keep you updated.
