Are my seedlings progressing as expected?
Concerned mostly with the CBD strain, as it’s growing at a much slower rate than the other 2.
Sizes normal?
Lights at correct height?
Thanks in advance.
Sprouted from seed - this is day 26.

Tent: Vivosun 2x4 with 3 plants in cloth smart pots.
Soil mix:
  • 3 parts peat moss
  • 3 parts compost
  • 2 parts perlite, pre-wet
  • 1 part vermiculite, pre-wet
Lights:
(2) 300watt led (130W±5%)
20” - 24” above.
18/6

Humidity 55-70%
Day temp 70 F
Night temp 78 F

Watering only when soil around dry @ inch deep.

Hit with 1/4 strength advanced nutrients at day 15, which is when the CBD got the yellow tinge. Probably couldn’t handle the nutritient strength I’m guessing.
I held off on more nutes since.

Welcome to FC @Eastcoastgrower :)
Watering only when soil around dry @ inch deep.
The plants are overwatered, the problem is that the soil may be dry at the top but may be very wet at the bottom. I recommend getting an inexpensive soil moisture meter/probe from ebay/amazon, they help take the guess work out of watering.

From your pics today I'd say it'd be another 10-14 days until the next watering, perhaps longer. Don't think you need to give them x amount every y days, let the plants tell you. With smaller plants less water more frequently is better than more water less frequently as you're narrowing the margin of error. Also in new soil you don't need to add any ferts for around a month as they really don't need it and doing so does more harm than good.

Ultimately the plants have been slightly stunted by the overwatering which is causing a lack of oxygen to the roots and potentially rot, you really need to let them dry right out now which may take some time but after 10-15 days you should see signs of improvement as the soil conditions improve and the roots rebound.

One last thing, don't move the lights closer while you're trying to dry the pots out and do increase the light hours to 22/2 until you see rapid growth. Good luck and keep us posted, and if you have any other questions please let us know, we're all here to help each other.

?I am with Sunshine on the watering I myself for the first month do not water that deep I just spray them with a small sprayer it probably doesn't get 1/32 of top soil wet only around plant but I spray every day and my meter always reads dry before I spray I always feel it is not enough but it never shows any bad signs than I start my water till drain once every 7 to 8 days Welcome to FC Eastcoastgrower :) .
