Hello I live in southern Ontario, one of my outdoor plants has started to flower but the other 3 are still in veg. Was wondering if I should be concerned about this? Also was reading about about force flowering has anybody here had to attempt this ? Should I do this to the other 3?

Not all strains flower at same time. I have 5 that started and a few not. No concern. Daylight hours are shortening so the plants should start soon.
If you are concerned about frost or freeze before harvest then it wouldn’t hurt to try to start forced flowering. I.ve never forced my plants into flowering but I have lost harvest to early freeze and it sucks. Good luck, I will be watching this thread to see how you do.
Hi Raja im from southern Ontario and don't worry about them till October then it gets a little dicey but i have harvested into the second week of October with no problem. We don't get the frost till usually into November and the way the summers have been going the past few years we could almost get away with a 65 to 70 day bud cycle . Just keep watch for powdery mildew late into bud its a real heartbreaker. Try to keep the middle of the plant cleaned out so the leaves can dry out in the dewey late summer mornings and watch for any leaves that are showing signs of a light grey color get rid of them . Reading others threads is very helpful. For me anyways cause I’m in southern Ontario as well and reading all this answered a lot of my questions. Good luck bud I’m in the same vote. Mine are flowering slowly and we all know how the weather goes here.
I like following post of people from different regions too. I have an auto growing that I started late February that is just now starting to develop frosty trichomes. She’s been flowering for months, her twin sister finished early June and is good quality smoke. This one is a beast, it’s buds are so heavy I have to stake up each branch. I’m not the best picture taker, but the buckets in the picture are 2.5 feet apart and the height is approximately 4 feet tall.

Very late, the veg went on for ever. I learned a lot from this grow. I am fairly new new to autos considering I have been growing photos since 1977. LST can extend your grow season but it’s worth it if you have the patients and choose a good strain. Instead of one main cola I have ten that have developed into two foot buds or longer. By the time I cut her down I calculate that I will have 20 feet , or more of quality buds about the diameter of a beer can. That will last a long Winter. This is the first year that I have not grown a photo strain, but if I did, I would be approaching flowering stage soon and end up with close to the same quantity after super topping and a faster flower development. I also plan to extend the flowering date with the hope of stressing her into rodelization. I will probably catch crap from the purest on this site, but in my defense and experience, this plant was created by this method from last years crop. My way to using natural rodelization is to watch your plants development each day, once you see the banana development, give it two to three days , then remove it. You should also be at peak trichomes development at that point or maybe beyond it. It doesn’t work all the time. You need environmental stress to pull it off, but the past three Summers have been nothing but high stress conditions due to drought, low sun visibility due to the massive fires, and then extreme heat to flooding rains from microbursts. hermies from this method. Most hermies show up early in the growth stages and would be destroyed by now. I also don’t trade or give seeds away from this process. I grow them and do my own research and development in my backyard. This plant is living proof of the process in the right stress conditions. Climate change can be used to your advantage in some cases.

Ya that explains why the plant took so long to flower. I don't have enough plants to try your rodelization method in fact I never heard of doing this before but its fun to experiment if you have the time and a few extra girls to play around with. Every year outside is different and I am learning to grow totally organic for the past couple of years and it has its rewards and a few downfalls. Mother Nature can play havoc on you without adding any extra stresses to the plant and add the insects above and below the plant that love your organic soil mix and it can be quite challenging even with proven strains. This year I had some of my branches of my Magic Melon strain yellowing on me and took a wild guess that it was a root problem so I purchased 20 million beneficial nematodes and man that plant looks great again. Fight nature with nature if you can I guess. Im starting to see a bit of powdery mildew just starting on one of my so called bullet proof strains and im using a product called cyclone ( a natural product ) and its got that under control. All my plants were heavily topped and LST trained and I just couldn't keep up with the thinning out of the middle of the plants and thats where PM usually starts but I've got all that under control for now its been that kind of summer hot hazy and humid with very heavy dew at night a magnet for PM. I will be posting some more pics in a couple of weeks. One of my Pineapple Muffin plants is well into bud and the other 3 are coming along good . Nice pics Uncle C hope she finishes well for you

Thanks buddy first time around the block. I’m 46 and the last time I grew I was 17 but now is for better reasons. Love to see some pics and hopefully all goes well for you and your babies. This weather is pretty harsh. Haven’t really noticed much dew but I’ll pay attention to that cause my girl is flowering and I’d don’t wanna make any crucial errors.
