Yep, I have sent out a couple 'tester' packets to see if they would mail well in a regular envelope. Woopee, it worked
. So now I want to offer a swab full of pollen to (almost) anyone who wants one, while supply last and to US members only, please.
Here's the info on it:
I got the seeds from here (and click the 'show more' link). Todd posted more info on these genetics in a thread here and wrote a nice history here. Enjoy a read on the history of Original Sk #1!
I collected and have stored the pollen using info from an article by Tom Bromme that is posted here.
FYI: This is the first time I have ever collected and stored or shipped pollen for use at a later date. I have not tested the viability of the stored pollen, I only can say it was viable when I collected it because I have immature seeds clearly forming on my girls.
Just like my Finnish Frost seed give away, just PM me the name and address where you want it sent to. It's that simple.
Pictures are:
1. boys impregnating the girls (must be 18 to view),
2. the boy's in full bloom portrait
3. sieving, collecting and packaging
4. a swab full (what you'll receive) swap also make a good duster/applicator
5. packaged for shipping and long term storage
6. just taken today, babies in the oven ... dads were fertile, LOL!
Keep seeding!
