I seen these and i was wondering if anyone has experience with glow in the dark plastic. Does this stuff effect the flowering photoperiod ? They seem pretty bright.imageName1710915615308_1512x.jpg

I've been trying to find out about this myself...I've seen a lot of videos and it looks like the plants will not be affected as long as the light source isn't brighter than the Full moon, which is between 0.25 lux (0.01 umol) and 1 lux (0.03 umol). I'm not sure you should trust this but that's all I have atm.

Glow in the dark plastic does not emit light, strong enough to alter the photoperiod that a plant receives. The light that is emitted by glow in the dark plastic is much weaker than natural light.

In fact, some growers recommend using glow sticks or other glow in the dark materials to provide supplemental light to plants grown indoors. However, it is important to use these materials correctly. If used incorrectly, glow in the dark materials can disrupt a plant's photoperiod and prevent it from flowering.

Thanks. Your the first person whos responded to this question and Ive asked a lot of people
