Hello everyone, I found this community when looking online to see if there were any places where auto flower breeders can trade genetics and share advice. I am a long-term pain management patient who also has PTSD so I tend to focus on creating strains to deal with both issues while trying to keep great recreational aspects still.
My journey into this was unexpected for me. My wife suffers from fibromyalgia, and the state we live in good luck getting medication to treat it as far as big pharma goes. At the time she said the only option she could see was cannabis. I did not really believe it would do anything but I "humored" her and obtained the natural medicine she needed. This went on for many months, all the while I thought at best placebo effect going on. One day I hurt myself permanently in my lower back and my neck. That day I got hurt she offered me a joint, which I did partake in...though I was dubious at best, until...that beautiful absence of pain washed over me. I then set about figuring out why that strain or certain strains worked for pain but not others. Thereafter I began to use cannabis to pretty much replace all of my medications for my many aliments including PTSD.
I have only just begun my journey into creating some bomb strains, but I am enjoying the journey and the friends made along the way.
At the moment I am working with Gaviota OG autoflower as my breeding stock as I have that stabilized into autoflower and as regular seeds. She is a fast flowering lil girl with good medicine to work with as a base for crosses. Most of the terps that are present are of the fruit type, then sometimes herb or minty tea present alongside the fruit terps. Rarely you can get an herbal dank earthy tasting bud. When grown under good conditions she can get quite frosty. She also finishes around day 65. The one below was a runt I grew, she started to flower on day 12 and finished quite early. She was a great smoke however.

Blackwater OG
Grape inferno (( that one was purely created for fun, have yet to try the F1's can't wait tho!))
Cereal Milk
Double Dutch
Mag ( Iranian Landrace strain )
Those are the genetics I am currently in some stage or another with.
I hope to learn more and also share my genetics. Me and the wife also make great testers for those wanting to test strains for medicinal effects. I am always on the chase for that nest great find or breeding project. It is a passion for me now.
