For those growing outdoors in the north east, harvest time is here. I managed to pull off about 17 strains this season, mostly traded or donated from the lovely people on this forum. I'm going to be sharing the progress of these girls month by month for anyone who wants to see the fruits of their and my labor.
She was easily grown in organic soil and rarely displayed any deficiencies. She is a bit lanky so you'll need to give her lots of space but the internode spacing is tight. She isn't really a heavy drinker and I'm not too sure how she responds to synthetic nutrient. My guess is that she would probably be able to handle a high ec/ppm by the time she's about 7 weeks old. The photos above were taken at the end of the first week of flower. As you can see, her stalk and stems are completely purple and I'm hoping those colors translate to the sugar leaves and flower.
HA! Somebody else using "Grow-cery" bags! Don't know how well we'll get along... mine are blue (we aren't classy enough for a Tarģet). Here i thought I was the only person that noticed the fabric similarities between them and a grow bag!

Hell yeah, I love these bag. They give us way too many when we go shopping and I had about 50 before the idea just clicked in my head. They are a lot less durable than a grow bag you can buy but they will last you a full outdoor season and we essentially have an unlimited supply of them. Just gotta double them up to prevent leakage from the sides and you're good to go. I like your idea of a collection tray at the bottom. Unfortunately I'l plated about 30 plants and haven't found a cheap diy method yet.
This is Black African Maui X Blue Dream by @Rich1 .
She's doesn't grow too tall in a 5 gallon pot but as you can see, she has tops galore. If you're short on space, she's perfect as she stacks really well, more so than some of the much taller girls in my garden. She responds really well to topping, LST, and HST. I cracked a few of her branches while tying her down and she just kept chugging along. Her pistils are a beautiful pinkish hue that I hope remains as she matures. I hope they will turn into red haired bud, as I have not had any in a long time. She drinks a lot in flower which makes sense as her trunk got to be about as thick as my thumb.
Dollar tree dish basin. I'm all about the cheap. They don't give bags away here but for less than a buck I can get 3-4 grows out of each before they start causing problems.
Here’s one of this year’s favourites. She’s an Afghani special f2’s from kc brains. Amazing resilience to moulds so far however I’ve had to put three bamboo stakes to help her. She was starting to really lean over with these crazy high winds we get anymore. Have quite a few beans left so if I like her flavour I was gonna do an open pollination inside to see if I can find a plant with stronger branching.

She's not gonna be ready for a few more weeks but she smells amazing. I was going to suggest that you cross the ignite with the Afghani in your post above. Her stalk is thick and a deep purple.

She's super stacked with almost no internodal space. She has a fruity lemony aroma with a hint of black pepper. This pheno seems to remain squat, even in a 10 gallon pot. On the next run, I'm going to try and see how she does directly in the ground. This might be a good pheno to grow if you are looking to grow something more discreet and closer to the ground outdoors. She's about 2 weeks from harvest and hasn't stopped swelling. She wasn't a heavy drinker and I feel I could have pushed her as far as feeding. If you grow synthetically, this might be a great phono to grow indoors.
