I would like to start a cannabis cultivation business but the rent plus additional fees may be too much starting up. i want to know if it would be possible to start off growing and distributing from a residential location such as home or apartment, before scaling up to a more commercial building. Would any state currently allow me to obtain a license and go through their other requirements to eventually start growing and selling weed from a residential property? Im currently in Texas but expect to move to any state that would allow this type of initial operation. I would like to be a licensed distributor operating out of my home or place of residence that would not limit me to a handful of plants under typical homegrow laws.
