Hi all!

Today marks one month plus a day into this project, and Day 20 flower.

Gave her some plain RO water this morning, as I have only been adding nutrients since potting her and I'm worried about the salts causing lockout if I give any more right now. Trying what I call a self-contained grow with no flush until the last week. Why waste precious phosphate? We've exhausted the Earth of it after all...

Additionally, I pruned some more of the foliage from above and below. Buds are what I want to grow, not leaves! We need enough to feed her but not so many as to choke her delicate flower heads. Balance is everything, folks. Life is not static but in motion!

Can see some light bleaching, but don't want to turn the power down I think she can handle it - it's just suspended a few inches too low and I'm not sure how to shorten the wires keeping it mounted. 🤔

As you can see, there's some room to play with up top. Just not certain how to get the fixture any closer to the ceiling... Any ideas peeps?

Zip ties, maybe? 😅

Myself I'd just connect the yoyo,s together overhead and gain alot of ratcheting straight up bro.them bars will handle it fine, the light weights what 8 lbs or so?

You could try going to opposite sides with the wires, that ought to buy you some headroom. Great grow btw I love the micros 👍

It seems I've reached the limitation of these ratchet hangers. @ Sunshine that was a clever idea but unfortunately was not successful since the wires didn't quite reach across both ways. I'm glad you suggested trying anyway.

Also the 8 inch zip ties I had in the closet failed as well... Still too short!

So we're going to leave it be, and keep trucking. The buds themselves haven't been bleached; we may do alright.

Began noticing early signs of lockout and N deficiency today. Rusty fan leaves with some light yellowing in places. Otherwise, she's healthy and getting stickier. Watered 2L @ 500 ppm.

Does she look like she needs more K? Would Epsom help prevent more yellowing? Is it pH swings? I'm not as familiar with bloom nutrient responses.

It does looks like somethings a little bit off. Sorry, I'm no help with my lack of autoflower experience, especially feeding them. That's another reason I'm tuned in. Always hoping to learn something. I hope you figure it out soon and we are all able learn.

Problem solved! After bumping the fertilizer she's greened up to normal, and some of the damage is reversed. She was just hungry. For all of it. I've been too conservative on the feed. Ha 😅

👍 What is your grow media on this one?

It's just about 45% coco/perlite, 40% organic garden soil and 15% compost. I like to blend my soils with coco. At this point in the grow I'm treating it like a 100% coco/perlite, since I'm sure she's consumed everything in the soil.
