Plants mature going from the green fresh branch to woody and then finally to Rubarb (purple) they call it. I think its just like bark on a tree how it gets older and older as it grows. And most people call this Rubarbing i think.

I have 1 more question why are the stems of my plants purple

I took a pic of the bottom of one of my girls, This is Rubarb and if you follow the branch upwards you will see it go brown and maybe a bit of green at the end. Hopefully that helps.

Is there a way to make the stems green again
Hey @Rubin :) Ideally the plant needs repotting into a better and airier soil mix asap?
A basic potting compost and perlite mix would make a massive difference to your overall plant health, the better the soil mix the better the results ?

I could only do that to one plant the rest are in too big of a container

For your making it back from purple to green i don't think it goes backward. Eventually if you reveg a plant over and over you will have like a tree trunk strength stalk. All the colour really does its lets you know what branches you can use some training methods on (LST) Low Stress Training.

Shouldn't be purple means somethings wrong only v.few strains have purple stems 9 out of 10 it's deficiency temp watering ph.. it means the plants are not happy mate that's showing on leafs to

They can grow out of it but purple stems stay purple new stems green if you sort the probs out
