I don't generate, I have three 20# bottles of food grade Co2 that I refill at the welding gas store , I have a pair of timers one timers controls gas allowed hours the other controls gas spray timing, on the lowest setting of timers it goes from 650ppm to2250ppm in two and a half seconds in twenty minutes the level drops to 850ppm and hits a spray again, I have a Co2 meter that records ppm, temperature, humidity and time I can view a printout on a Windows computer.there is also a final metering valve after the main pressure regulator that slows the pressure discharge so the gas don't release all at once
So it's time for an update on the actual subject of the thread, been real busy I let things get a little too dry this this weekend and my pH went up, as a result I popped a few yellows. I am utilizing 16oz cups this time around instead of the slightly larger pots I usually use. The idea was to eliminate or reduce early damp offs. The plants are ok with it or so it seems,I just have to monitor water closer.
I have arranged a 6 bulb hanging fluorescent luminaire, that I call the Glowatron. Seems I needed more lights to cover the increased activity in here, I have another 25 seeds/sprouts going on for a 16oz. Cup grow competition. For conversation sake there are 5 Durban Poison, 5 Cindy's, 5 psycho, 5 ak, and 5 jack herrer. My first successful clone is in there too
I call the light the Glowatron to mock Hartford county assistant D.A. Glowa. An asshole on legs, he treated every crime in misdemeanor court like it was a murder1. He has died from cancer. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy,I'm glad he's gone.
Hmm I better keep an eye on my plant count or the Ghost of Glowa will catch me over 99.
35 plants in 5 gallon buckets
32 seedlings in 16oz cups
25 seeds/sprouts in 16oz cups
2 clones in 16oz cups
That's a grand total of 94
Yeah that's right two power cords, the timer controls a magnetic contactor, the contactor takes the load off of the timer for safety, no fires caused by burned up timers. I do the same for the big lights and the Co2 system.
The big grow is close to having me flip the switch to 12/12 there are still some plants that haven't thrown alternating nodes yet, I think about a week to go.
