Question Too late to transplant?

Hi everyone, I have a dilemma. I've been growing a couple of auto flowers for 91 days now, and one of them seems very slow in developing buds compared to the other. Both started growing pistils 41 days ago and I've already harvested one of them a week ago but the other seems to be taking its sweet time, as it's just continuing to growing pistils all over without any end in sight. No buds, no trichomes, just a whole lot of white pistils. Which maybe is a good thing? I mean, the longer it grows, the more bigger the harvest will be I presume...

The plant is 76 cm tall right now.

This is how both of them looked on day 55:

The one on the right stopped growing at this point and went on to develop buds and trichomes. But the one of the left just kept growing.

Now my question is, could this be due to the root system being constrained in the pot? It's a 3.5 liter ceramic pot and I'm thinking if I would transplant it into a bigger container it might help kickstart the bud forming?

I'm just concerned because I heard that ceramic pots make it difficult to get the plant out and it can really shock the roots.

Any advice would be appreciated

I'm not sure about the difficulty of transplanting from ceramic but it wouldn't hurt to try and transplant them as gently as you can,if you are worried about a small harvest. As long as they are gently transplanted,it should improve the size of the plant somewhat. The bigger the space they have to fill with roots, the bigger they will grow.

Don't believe the hype on transplanting autos, I transplant every one that I grow. That's a rather small planter, but at this stage she has already set her buds so up pottingmay not have much of an effect.

The way I've heard it, is that autos "veg" until their taproot bottoms out. In roughly a 1 gallon pot that doesn't take long. I start them in solo cups and transplant within 10 days of breaking the surface. Even this is too long sometimes. On your next round of recommend larger planters, 4-5x larger. One of the wonderful things about our miracle plant is that most varieties are resilient and can grow on just about anything. For example: my "planters" or"Grow Bags" are really just reusable shopping bags from Walmart. .50-$1.00 each last time i bought them. They hold 5-6 gallons (20-25 liters) of media are washable and Reuseable (in this case) as well. I've grown for the last 2 years in them with 0 issues. I don't know what is available in your area but just because it wasn't designed for cannabis doesn't mean it won't work. Look around it just needs to be able to breathe. I even seen people use burlap.
