I made 4 trades over a month ago. I have not received one yet. I believe to be all good people so the mail system is busted temporarily. But it makes for a strange situation where you don't want to say something and some peoples default mode would be to wait for you to say you received it and then the next day they say they got it, it's the safe approach. If we look at the postal problem with patience we might work through the problem. Open dialogue

a month that is way to long you need to get back to the ones you traded with and ask them WHY nothing received also you need to list them on the site of traders :mask:

Something is wrong with the mail system. I get it if I don't get anything in return no hard feelings. But most recently I received a trade from California 5 weeks late. And he received my seeds very late as well. This is sure to cause tension.

sat, I would ask them, but also start out w low expectations....I have shit from amazon, and a couple spore print trades, that are batshit-crazy slow right now.

Doesn't mean this isn't worth a follow-up, and I appreciate the optimism, I think it is warranted, but due diligence also says you may wanna send a couple PMs to figure out WHEN stuff hit the mail, and verify it did.

I agree with Sativa..
Something is up...I am still waiting on several trades myself on another site from over a month ago..Seems to be more an issue of Cdns not receiving beans (cda post?) than US recipients..

I think anytime package crosses federal borders it is at risk of being detected & handed over to authority as non mailable. From there one can't rely on mister nice guy federal border guy sir. In Canada though. https://www.canadapost.ca/cpc/en/personal/sending/parcels/restrictions/cannabis.page

Unfortunately, the problem with
Good trades or bad now is whether the postal service and confiscation is the issue..
You cant tell..

Good people who send seeds that aren't received are still labelled as questionable

One of them showed up. It's the mail system.
Canada has X-Ray cannabis detectors & sniffers. The reasons they do are cross border shipping & shipping of excess amounts. They use sniffer dogs as well. The reason is to stop illegal trafficking. Which is the entire reason the Canadian government legalized up to 30 grams in the first place, 4 plants & no at home excess amount. So if they detect cannabis in any amount it will become unmailable. Hense the scent free mailers. The problem is : myself is not risking me to enter anywhere just now to pick mailer up as bones are crushing my spinal cord & arteries I don't need to cough brains out & across federal border is a risky business that I am unwilling to attempt. What we need is a world that did not make cannabis illegal in the first place. It should be the price of a bag of corn for hemp seeds & a fine tea for buds & no child yes child should have ever gone to jail for possesion of it nor should ever. That is the criminal & injust act. Canada has began a good thing but as always can't let go of controlling people with the cannabis is bad protect kids & us lie. Like mandatory vaccines. Or moving natives. To protect us lol.

So far every person I traded with has gotten them to me. And all of them have received mine. I had to reship one, but that was my bad on terrible packaging.

If anyone has a worry of getting ripped off, I am always willing to show my word is gold first. But I want to see they have respect and I'm the one who looks shady for being new.

As far as I heard only licenced producers can import with a lot of paper work & tracking. A very grey area, difficult to find info on that doesn't require a lawyer to read. Any seed that crosses border is monitored yet they ship freighters of corn & other crops. Generally in Canada 1 seed is = to 1 gram dried flower so we can legally ship no more than 30 seeds but if they are detected they are handed to authority then hit the garbage hense scent free mailer so again regulation conflicts. Across federal border cannabis is an illegal substance both ways or you could drive across with 30 grams in pocket or 30 seeds but as a Canadian I can set up a hoop 1 meter from border & use a 30 gram bag to shoot hoops as long as no fouls ?.

Just going with them saying in any form. It may explain missing mails.

Update! Three of four seeds showed up and a resend from one of the traders showed up so I owe him. So the mail system works and I'll never know why they took 4-5 weeks to arrive from the states but Canada must of held tons of mail for a while. Some things we will never know.
