hello all. I am growing some rosetta stone. have been through 2 harvests now and materials appears to be good and performs well. But, just got it tested (2 x separately) and THC levels came in at 3.2% and 2.4% . passed all other tests (water, heavy metals, contaminants etc). any ideas how that is possible? very frustrated here. thanks, EDW

Yeah, so THC exists as two separate molecules. Inactive THC-A is converted to ∆9-THC during combustion or decarboxylation, meaning you could have a 20% THC material sample with 17% being THC-A and the other 3% being active ∆9-THC.

Ras - Thank you. just seems odd. the effect is good. i figured it would come in at 15-18%, but 3%?!?! any way to 'fix' this or just try again with a new strain or base material?
thanks

It sounds like the test hasn't revealed the true potency of your herb, or was perhaps misinterpreted. From what I understand, THC-a is going to be the indicator of its total concentration, while you only know the amount of ∆9-THC present.

? Rosetta Stone delivers a THC range between 15 and 20 percent. This strain requires an indoor grow setup and may finish after seven weeks of flowering, though it may take up to eight to fully finish :mask:

It is strange. Did you figure out why the THC level was so low. Because I also thought that the THC level for rosetta stoune should be higher. You can search in the google for answer. You can find a weed growing forum that will give you the answer to your question. The weed forums have actually helped me a lot with my research and let me share their material. Usually their information is actually pretty good and helpful, at least for my research. At the forums I found an online store with weed gummies and it is my addiction now. Weed gummies gives the real results and the proce is really low.

There can be lots of reasons.
1. Harvesting to early
2. Didn't provide enough light
3. You dried buds to fast
4. Didnt cure long enough.
Majority of the time if that low it was harvested way to early. Also remember slow dry em when hanging. The plant is still producing thc so so dont quick dry. ROSETTA STONE already is a low thc plant. Remember when looking at seeds the banks will show high thc for a strain. But thats under extreme growing technique by professionals. Always expect a lower thc from normal grows. But 3% to me is you yanked em to early. Be patient.

I am a rolling machine....lol, learned to roll as a young man and practiced on grandpa's tobacco. Blew him away when I twisted one up like a pro. Although, I use the bong as my regular home use. Pipe and doobies when I'm away from home. I can't forget the edibles that are good almost anywhere.

Hah, I had no idea that you could make a THC product stronger using this technique. Still, I am not a professional in this field and I usually only buy CBD or THC products without even knowing what am I buying sometimes. Well, if I have a problem and I don't understand something, I contact my friends from greengoddesscollective.com and they have an answer to any question asked.
