Brown Spots on Leaves Another Book from "Alphatoy"
A healthy cannabis plant growing under the right pH balance and with enough nutrients exhibits a green pigment because it’s rich in chlorophyll. The leaves also have trichomes on the surface, giving them a shiny appearance. While cannabis is a hardy plant, it can only last for so long under less than optimum growing conditions. If you notice your leaves are yellowing and developing brown spots, you need to start paying close attention to the nutrients you are feeding your plant. Common causes of yellowing leaves and brown spots include;Calcium forms the building ‘cement’ for the cannabis plant. It’s calcium that makes your plant structure sturdy. It helps develop the plant’s walls, stems, branches, root growth and makes your plant resistant to environmental stress. Calcium also helps in the absorption of potassium. As such, it is an essential nutrient that your plants should never lack. Calcium is a heavy nutrient that moves slowly through the plant. Calcium deficiency will show on new leaves during the rapid vegetative stage. The new leaves may display small brown spots, leaf die-off, stunted growth, spotting, and leaf crinkling. The plant may also become weak with stems that crack easily and have buds that do not develop fully. In severe cases of calcium deficiency, the plant’s roots may die off completely. Calcium deficiency occurs when your medium pH is too low. A grow medium with less than 6.2 pH locks out calcium, causing deficiency even if available. If the grow medium has too much potassium, it can also make it difficult for your plants to absorb calcium. Nitrogen Deficiency is a vital macro nutrient for photosynthesis and chlorophyll production. It also helps your cannabis plants make the amino acids necessary for protein production. This nutrient is also critical during the plant’s vegetative stage. Cannabis plants suffering from Nitrogen deficiency display yellowing leaves with brown spots at the margins. The leaves also curl up and die off. On the other end of the spectrum, too much Nitrogen can also cause Nitrogen-toxicity. Cannabis plants suffering from Nitrogen toxicity display a dark green color that appears almost black. Potassium deficiency can occur if there is too much Calcium or Nitrogen in your grow medium. This nutrient helps cannabis plants develop a healthy root system. Potassium and Nitrogen work together to protect your plant against fungal infections and pest affliction. If your cannabis plant is suffering from low Potassium levels, it will display yellowing leaves with brown, rust-colored spots. In extreme cases, the leaf tip and edges dry off and have a scorched appearance. How Do you get rid of Brown Spots on Plants ? The most obvious course of action is to check and balance the grow medium nutrient levels. You can flush the medium with pH balanced water that includes healthy doses of Calcium, Nitrogen, and Potassium. If you are using supplements, pay close attention to how they work. It helps to talk to an expert so you can understand how much of each nutrient your cannabis plants need. While the affected leaves will not recover, new leaves will not display yellowing or brown spots once you achieve the right nutrient balance. Pay close attention to new leaves to ensure they grow healthy and adjust your soil nutrient levels as required. Remedying Nutrient Deficiencies in your grow Medium, After identifying which nutrient deficiency your cannabis plant is suffering from, you can remedy the problem by adding the required minerals. However, it is not an exact science. If you add too much of one nutrient, your plant will suffer from toxicity or nutrient lock out. We recommend using compost or other high quality organic matter. Adding organic matter to your soil provides better results and adds beneficial microorganisms that break down nutrients keeping them readily available and easier to absorb for your plant. if you always worry about yellowing leaves ? It is perfectly normal for the youngest leaves to turn yellow and fall off. As harvest time approaches, the green leaves that grow during the vegetative stage die off. These leaves, called fan leaves, act as biological solar panels and are a rich addition to your compost material With out your Solar Panels your plant can not survive i learned this many years ago while growing orchids which are very timid plants like cannabis keep a clear watch on your plants. Feeding your plants enough nutrients allows them to blossom and grow steadily. Thanks to proper nutrient balance, you will reap big. To remove nutrient deposits in your final product, you flush your plant with pH balanced water. Flushing makes your weed smoother when you smoke it i am told i could not say from experience. In Conclusion It can be challenging to tell which nutrient is missing if your cannabis plant is displaying multiple signs. The deficiency symptoms are usually very similar, but if you pay close attention to your plant from the beginning, you can spot them fairly quickly. if you just let your plants grow with no TLC well you get what you REAP or i should say you Reap what you Grow. Welcome! You really are a time traveler.That post was written in 2018. Where are ya from? I'm sure someone on here should be able to hook you up sooner or later. I recommend keep checking back, stick around a while and start building experience with the site and relationships with the membership. It may take a bit but you could potentially end up having more seeds that you could count.

i am sorry i am not giving out any seeds that i do not have plenty off and i have very little of Afghan seeds left i have used them pretty often and that plant you are looking at is over 2 years ago maybe someone out their will respond to you as soon as you have PM and most seeds i have are regular so it is a 50 x 50 chance of a female or male and welcome to FC

i finally got 2 of the Frankenstein seeds to grow from Freak show this little baby is going to be my first outside grow when it gets to be a teenager it looks nothing like cannabis but with my luck i will probably end up with 2 males ha ha either way i am excited only got one picture camera acting up again going to have to learn my camera on the phone and the download to computer it is hard to teach old dogs new tricks ha ha. First shot day 3 of breaking surface. .
Day 4 and picture 4 is day 6 the teenagers are cherry cake blue cookie 2 times and than Durban poison in the right tent with Frankenstein you have Rainmaker, then girl scout cookies than pinkey

here is an update on Frankenstein Day 12 sorry about the bad camera shots camera doesn't seem to want to adjust right up close sorry dont have any pictures of my teenager plants my pet rat got out of his cage again went down into tent hand had a feast on the main stalks chewed the shit out of them they fell over second time he did this i dont know if he was stoned or not but i threw the little SOB into the lake he swam to the other side good riddance ( So he had a stony swim) didn't have the heart to ring his little neck so BEN is gone. so he is now the cleanest Rat in Texas.

rest of the pictures these will be ready to maybe harvest July the 29 so they still have 11 or so more days they smell great. camera just doesn't let me to get close enough to see the trycones but they are their in abundance i figure their will be about a pound before drying

I did have some problem with my cat she did have 6 babies
some REAL (TroubleMakers)but I like cats....I did keep 2 with mom(Blacky&Smoky)
My Friend your camera seem ok from 1or2foot
it's the close shots....I see on the picture your camera it's adjust on the soil
I did have the same problem on seedlings my camera seem to adjust
on the soil not on the seedling....what I do with seedling now
first I click for the automatic adjustment it's on the soil I know
SO I back up the camera 1)2inch or 1 inch just by for I click for the pic
not sure if your camera have the 2 stage....1)2 way it's Adjust....and full for the pic
for nice pictures the light it's very important
the position of the light AND the light
the one I use it's old desk light(Halogen I think)
I will show you the bulb if you have one similar do some test
I did tray everything and all the corners of my home
And a black background the camera focus on just the plant
I will show you a pic of one of my helper for spider mite
the position of my light it's on her BACK like on the left top corner
of the pic....so my flash on the camera it's on the dark side of the helper
I use the same position for plants and the same place by side my desk
the flash on the dark side of the plant....and I take maybe 20to30+ pics
to have 4 nice pics to post....not sure if you will understand sorry for my English(

Harvested my pink Plasma, 60% Indica 23% to 30% ThC My Royal Legend 80% Indica 23% to 25% THC , My Cherry Cake Auto 80% Sativa 20% to 28% THC if you notice the Auto did hardly anything hanging up the regulars did a great job maybe one day i will get a really good Auto

update on my grow Frankenstein at 4 Weeks first 2 pictures i know it doesn't look but yes it is cannabis than we have Rainmaker than Baked Alaskan than Gorilla Girl than the baby tent than the next 5 Pictures are from My Royal Legend after i Harvested the Buds had a bunch of young flowers so i saved them and pollinated them with Blue Cookie so now i have a bunch of Royal Blue Legend Seeds Coming on

Second Page we have Blue Cookie their are 2 of them their the one on right grew straight up the one on the left you only see one branch of it it grew like cannabis the next pictures shows next pictures is Big Bud than the next is Guptilla Please Enjoy the pictures Thank You.
