Got it. Hopefully they swell up and get dense!

When I get up I will likely water them, should I give them a starter dose of mammoth p? I've hardly used any, got most of the tester bottle left and it should be good for 6 more months or so. It says to start at 1 mil per gallon so that should be easy.

No, don't add any liquid ferts, it's not needed and may cause you problems. Everything you need is already in the soil mix :)

@Sunshine it isn't techincally a fert, its organic microbials.

"MAMMOTH P is the first organically derived microbial inoculant that was specifically designed to unlock P and micronutrients to maximize bud growth. MAMMOTH P is a liquid formula of beneficial bacterial that can be applied directly to soil, coco or recirculating hydroponic systems"

I assummed it was one of these monster products with lots of phosphates.
Your mycorrhizae are already performing the function described as the key benefit so it's not needed hence I wouldn't add it.
My advice would be stick to plain water from the well (which sounds awesome by the way) :)

How big's the sample bottle out of interest @FerretWrangler? Are you planning on giving them a tea during this run?

I went ahead and gave them plain water at your recommendation, on the mammoth p site it says it works very well with mychorizae in a mutualistic/almost symbiotic way but I wanted to ask you first.

I think its around 100-150 mil? Ml is hard for me to guess :)

It also says on the website that if you make a tea with it it becomes many times stronger than needed, though I've stumbled across that exact link before and I did actually brew a mammoth p tea for the doomed slh. It was too sad to respond ultimately, so I really have 0 experience with it. Site says it works in veg but is best in flower.

I do plan to do a tea but I need some clarification because last run I'm sure i fed WAAAAY too much molasses.

How much molasses did you add to how much water and was it dried or liquid molasses?

Its liquid unsulphered horticultural. I tipped it up on accident so between a half cup and a cup poured in 4 gallons but I figured it wouldn't be a problem. It stained the perlite like paint. I also used compost that could've been mostly sterile its hard to tell.

Just to clarify this was last grow, not this one. The new babies are fine and i haven't given them anything but water.

The amount of molasses sounds about right to me, use worm compost or compost from someones compost heap next time and it'll be good.
How are the little ones coming along? :)

Great! I look back on the last run I tried and all those were 2-3 times older and still smaller. The sticks on these ones are thiiick already. Biggest is working on it's 4th set of leaves and the rest are working on their third. The first leaves are now bigger than a lighter and then some. :)

That soil is gold, and the light is pulling them right up out of it!

The GG#4 are the ones on the right, and the one in the back. they smell piney and look like little squashes :)
Pineapple are the two on the left, and they smell like mangoes and juicy fruit gum.

I hope so! I'm hoping to get an inline fan and some hvac ducting before too much longer, it would improve the grow alot. I believe I'm looking for 4 inch, does that sound right? I was also wondering about my spare light bulb, and if it would work well for flower? I dunno the specs on my current bulb but it seems yellow? Here is the link for the fresh light in the box: https://www.ushio.com/product/hilux-gro-super-hps-single-ended/

Yes 4inch/10cm is the standard and easy to find ducting and fans to fit.
That's normal for an hps, they emit more light in the red spectrum so appear yellow, the same ones are used in street lighting. An hps bulb degrades over time and the lumen output/efficiency drops. I'd use the current bulb for 2-4 runs then move on to the new bulb :)

It makes sense they are used for street lights, that's interesting :) it makes pics come out weird for sure!
