Looks like I'll need to get the humidity up!
hows your garden growing mate
Decent, can't wait to get them all transplanted finally!
One of my bigger ones. Dm or the freebie stuff, it's hard to tell after the ferret debacle.
Nice and healthy looking roots @FerretWrangler
Thanks @Sunshine is that root bound? Everyone's getting a bit of mykos tonight.
Yes, text book root bound.
They'll definitely appreciate the pot up
Doesn't look like it but it's 3-sided to catch heat and humidity, and it keeps a surprisingly stable environment. More so than the closet.
Nice work @FerretWrangler looks like you've got the temps perfect!
Hopefully in a few weeks it'll be a nice green jungle in there
Thanks @Sunshine I sure hope so! Should I let them show me their sex in the 1 gallon pots? It'd be alot easier to up pot after the cull but I don't wanna stunt them. I want the keepers to go into 3 or 5 gallon pots, maybe fabric. I was reading up on topping and lst again, I still don't know if I will top, if I do maybe I will wait until after the cull. Thoughts? I know you said solely lst would probably suit my purposes but so many people have great luck with topping. Also, when they're all settled and hungry should I start them on a weak brew of the nectar for the gods or give them a compost tea? I have mammoth p too and I was wondering if you had experience with it. Sorry for all the questions at once! They've all been knocking around my noggin and it didn't feel right to ask until I made a step in the right direction with my grow.
Why not veg for a few weeks and flip them asap sog style, then reveg post flowering and repot the keepers into larger containers.
There's nothing wrong with topping but first run I'd concentrate on getting them through quickly and getting bud in jars, when you reveg they will all be topped by default and become extremely bushy.
Compost tea is never a bad idea, in fact doing one now/next few days wouldn't be a bad idea at all
Sounds like a plan! I saw this referenced and I was reading https://www.420magazine.com/forums/...-growth-time-exponentially-affects-yield.html
I'm gonna wait until 5-6 nodes and bend them over, how big should I let them get/ how long would you let them go personally? I'm finding that I smoke alot recently and it would be lovely to have some to sell to get my money back and re invest.
Personally I wouldn't veg potential males for protracted amounts of time, train them etc.
I'd flip mixed seeds asap (2-3 weeks) to determine 1. sex 2. keepers/plants of interest then reveg and go from there, then at that stage when you have lower numbers of definite females vegging for longer makes sense.
thats a decent size grow area mate looks wicked so far
Thanks for all the info @Sunshine! After I harvest and reveg I may scrog... We shall see @BudMonster It's a decent sized area, I think they like it so far.
It's probably hard to tell but they've all perked up significantly!
Me too @FerretWrangler! It's the best time to do it for sure
Can't wait! @Sunshine how dark is necessary for the dark period? There is some residual light. When I'm in there I can't see my hands or the plants but you can see the hood a little since it's white... too bright?
You want complete darkness during lights out, this is particularly important during flowering.
Even small amounts of light stress could cause hermies and better quality of darkness finishes flowering quicker
I'll get it fixed today! Lights just came on and they couldn't look happier.
Looking great @FerretWrangler awesome to see it coming together!!!
