The 2 buckets with the passion#1 x fruitbowl have now been taken down completely and the fans left to mulch on top of the soil. These pots will be left without a crop this next (reveg) run and will be top dressed with fbb and left.

@FerretWrangler I'm currently using 2 x 180w (each has 60 x 3w diodes) led units, they're unbranded ones I got sent direct from china in 13/14.
They seem quite well made and are dimmable and each of the light panels (2 per light) is individually dimmable/switch offable, which is quite useful when taking pics and during particularly hot spells :idea:
Newer similar led units (cobs aside) have 5w diodes (like the mars) some even have 10w diodes, which in theory should give even better light penetration than the older 1w/3w diode units :)
 
These little buds won't be wasted, in around a week when the plants are growing again they'll be harvested and will be some very crystally little flowers.

Today most of the old bud was removed, taking the plants back as low as possible without being too brutal.
Top dress of two scoops of FBB per pot added as well as leaf mulch and watered it in well to the soil.

It looks a bit of a mess and very bare at this stage but in a week it will start to look quite different :)
 
Now regrowth has started so I'd estimate around 20 days. Growth is quite fast with a healthy reveg as you already have the benefit of the existing root and branch infrastructure and myco symbiosis/colonisation of the roots :)
I'll be going scrog this time round, more often than not with reveg the screen is the weapon of choice for me, it's the best and easiest way to make sense of the masses of grow tips that come out of the old flowers.

Any leaves without trichomes at harvest are used to mulch the pots :)
The mulch is good for the soil as well as the microherd and also helps reduce watering (which means less work for me and more time to relax) :sun:
Another great alternative to mulching with the leaves is to use them for making worm compost, all you need is a couple of rubbermaids some shredded newspaper and some worms which can be bought cheaply online ;)
